I’m sure you’ve all been there. Your dog poops in the house and now you have to deal with the mess! You could try to clean it up, but your dog may poop again before you get a chance. Do you know the feeling? I do.

Well, as it turns out, your dog might be trying to tell you something.

Why Do Dogs Make a Mess In The House?

There are many reasons why dogs make a mess in the house. Here are some of them:

-They could have a medical condition such as colitis, which can cause diarrhea and vomiting.

-Stressed by something like new furniture or loud noises outside.

-Your dog could have worms, which can cause diarrhea.

-They could be bored and need more exercise.

-Your dog might have a urinary tract infection or another medical condition that causes urination outside the litter box.

Whatever the reason, you’ll want to take your dog to see a vet as soon as possible. That way, you can get treatment for whatever is wrong with them (if anything).

Why Does My Dog Poop In The House After Going Outside?

If your dog has just been outside and then starts pooping in the house, it could be because they have worms.

Worms can cause diarrhea and if your dog doesn’t have a bowel movement for several days, their body will send it out in their urine or stool.

If your dog has worms, it’s important that you take them to see a veterinarian very soon. A vet can give them medication and advice on how to help prevent your dog from getting more parasites.

Another reason your dog is pooping in the house is that something has scared them outside. Upon entering the house, your dog becomes anxious and starts to poop!

Dangers Of Dog Poop In House

Dog poop can be dangerous to humans. If you touch dog poop and then touch your eyes, nose or mouth without washing your hands first, you could get infected with bacteria and parasites that cause illness.

The worst part is that you don’t even have to touch the dog poop; just being near it for a long period of time can make you sick!

That’s why it’s so important to wipe the poop off the floor. The best carpet sweeper for dog hair is what your home needs.

Dog poop is also poisonous to plants. If you have a garden or flowers outside, it’s important to keep your dog away from them so he doesn’t dig up the soil and spread his poop around.

How Do you Discipline A Pooping Dog?

Positive reinforcement is the best solution. Harsh punishments will only make your dog more anxious and nervous.

Dogs are just like humans. You love attention and so do they. One effective technique is to ignore your dog.

Simply clean up the poop and move on. When you don’t give your dog attention after pooping in the house, they will soon realize something is wrong. A change in behavior is in order to gain attention from you again.
